Hello everyone! My name is Kim Stover, and I am so happy to be teaching 5th grade!
I have taught 5th grade for most of the nineteen years that I have been blessed to be a teacher! I love 5th grade! I was born right here in Manatee County and have lived here all of my life. I live in Palmetto with my husband, David, and our three boys Cael (14 years old), Colin (12 years old) & Cooper (10 years old). We have a chocolate Lab named Bella who is about six years old...and is spoiled rotten!
My husband owns his own (our own) small family security & fire business (Bellemare Total Systems Integration)! The boys can’t wait until they can work with “DAD”! That would be really cool!
I went to Community Christian School until 10thgrade and then transferred and graduated from Palmetto High School in 1993. I then continued my education at the University of South Florida earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and my Masters in Reading Education K-12.
Some of my favorite things to do are to spend time outside with my family playing baseball, swimming or just taking a walk or riding bikes. We have many cookouts and gatherings at our home and love every minute of it!
I am a summer baby with a birthday on June 11th (yep…I was one who NEVER got to take cupcakes to school…that’s why I am SURE to celebrate everyone’s birthday at some point throughout the school year!) Our anniversary is on July 25th…we just celebrated 20 years this summer! My husband and I have been together since the end of high school! Some of my favorite things are the colors green & blue, anything caramel (TWIX), a good sense of humor and spending time at church with my family!
I know we will have a great year!
With Big Smiles….Mrs. Stover!!
